Middlesex London Food Policy Council is partnering with Club House® for Chefs and McCormick Canada to create the London-Middlesex Restaurant Support Fund. This fund provides up to $1,000 in grants to qualifying London-Middlesex-based, independent operators of restaurants and bars in need of financial assistance as they adapt their businesses through the COVID-19 crisis. Other partners involved in supporting the local restaurant industry during the crisis include; Pillar Nonprofit Network, the Middlesex London Food Policy Council, rTraction and the Western Fair District.

Dr. Hill addresses the role community gardens play in support of the communities’ food security and the importance of classifying them as essential food services during the COVID-19 pandemic so that they can be opened for planting in the spring.
